Jerry Norcia

Jerry Norcia

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer – DTE Energy

Jerry Norcia is the chief executive officer of DTE Energy. He also is chairman of the company’s board of directors.

Prior to being named CEO in 2019, Norcia served as president and chief operating officer of DTE, responsible for strategic oversight and operations of the electric and gas utilities and the two large non-utility businesses. He has also served as president of DTE Gas and DTE Electric. Norcia joined the company in 2002 as president of the Gas Storage and Pipelines business.

Prior to joining DTE, Norcia was vice president of business development for Union Gas. He has more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry, where he worked in executive leadership roles, business development, engineering and operations.

Norcia earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Windsor.

Norcia is a leader in the communities he serves. He co-chairs the United Way Campaign Cabinet and is a member of the board of trustees of The Skillman Foundation, dedicated to the well-being and prosperity of children in Detroit. Norcia also serves on the boards of Business Leaders for Michigan, the Detroit Regional Partnership and the Downtown Detroit Partnership.

As a board member of the American Gas Association, Edison Electric Institute, Nuclear Energy Institute and the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, Norcia helps to shape the future of the energy industry.

Diane Antishin

Diane Antishin

Vice President, Human Resources & Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer – DTE Energy

Diane M. Antishin is vice president of Human Resources and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer for DTE Energy. Antishin is responsible for the design, development, and execution of enterprise-wide strategy for workforce planning and development, talent acquisition, talent and succession planning, executive and employee compensation and benefits, health and wellness, and labor and employee relations. In addition, she oversees the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy, cultivating a work and learning environment that encourages, supports, and values the multicultural mosaic of DTE’s workforce, customers, business partners, suppliers, and communities. She also leads the employment and education pillar of the company’s force for growth strategies, driving economic growth and prosperity in the regions it serves.

Prior to joining DTE Energy, Antishin was the director of labor relations at American Axle & Engineering, Inc., also holding leadership roles in operations and manufacturing. In all, her career as a human resources professional spans over 25 years in the utility and automotive industries.

Antishin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Business degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Wayne State University. She has also attended the Ross School of Business Executive Education program at the University of Michigan and is a graduate of Leadership Oakland.

Antishin is a member of the HR Policy Association, serving on the labor relations advisory and employment rights committees, and is a member of the board of governors for the American Health Policy Institute. She also serves on the Conference Board Council of U.S. D&I Executives and the board of directors for the American Society of Employers, the Haven-Oakland Foundation, and the board of visitors for the Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business. JoAnn Chavez

JoAnn Chavez

Senior Vice President & Chief Legal Officer – DTE Energy

JoAnn Chávez is senior vice president and chief legal officer for DTE Energy. Chávez has responsibility for the management and strategic direction of DTE’s office of the general counsel and advises DTE’s board of directors and senior management on legal and related matters. Chávez also has responsibility for the oversight of ethics and compliance, corporate security, corporate emergency management, and tax.

Prior to joining DTE in 2007, Chávez served as an international tax partner for KPMG LLP with experience serving large multinational clients. Chávez earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame.

Chávez is a strong advocate for young people and is the founder of the Michigan Hispanic Collaborative (MiHC), a Michigan non-profit, that focuses on economic equity and provides opportunities for first-generation Hispanic students to graduate from college. MiHC delivers culturally relevant programming for both students and parents to help bring coherence to the chaos of college access. Chávez sits on the DTE Energy Foundation, the Cristo Rey Network, Invest Detroit, the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan, and the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute boards of directors. She also serves on the Notre Dame Law School and the University of Michigan School of Education Advisory Councils, and the State of Michigan Women’s Commission, and is the past chairwoman of the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce board of directors.

Joi Harris

Joi Harris

President & Chief Operating Officer – DTE Gas

Joi Harris is president and chief operating officer of DTE Gas, DTE Energy’s natural gas utility which provides service to 1.3 million homes and businesses in Michigan. Harris is responsible for all utility gas operations, including gas sales and distribution and storage services.

Harris’ career with DTE Energy spans 30 years. Prior to her current role, Harris was senior vice president of Major Enterprise Projects where she was responsible for leading the project management, planning and execution of the company’s largest initiatives, including the construction of DTE’s renewable energy projects, and projects in Power Generation, Distribution, Nuclear and Gas Midstream platforms. Harris joined DTE Gas (formerly Michigan Consolidated Gas Company) in 1991. She has served in leadership positions in a number of areas including distribution field operations, system control and transmission operations.

Harris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University.

Harris serves as vice president of the board of directors for the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP). She is a member of the Wayne State University’s College of Engineering Board of Visitors and Industrial Engineering Advisory Board. Harris was chosen by the Michigan Chronicle as one of the "Women of Excellence," recognized by "Who's Who in Black Detroit," and honored at the 2016 Women of Color STEM Conference for her career achievements.

Trevor F. Lauer

Trevor F Lauer

President & Chief Operating Officer – DTE Electric

Trevor F. Lauer is president and chief operating officer for DTE Electric, an electric utility serving 2.3 million customers in Southeastern Michigan and a subsidiary of DTE Energy.

Lauer joined DTE Energy in 2005. Prior to his current position, Lauer was senior vice president of distribution operations. Prior to joining DTE Energy, Lauer was executive vice president at Pittsburgh-based Strategic Energy LLC, a nationwide energy supplier. He also worked in a variety of leadership and general management positions at Honeywell, Inc. in the Washington, D.C. area.

Lauer earned a bachelor of science degree in mineral economics from Pennsylvania State University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Maryland. He is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Michigan. In 2019, Lauer completed the MIT Nuclear Reactor Technology Course.

Lauer is active in the community and serves on several boards. He is a member of the Executive Committee for the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce and a trustee for the Cranbrook Educational Community and the board chair of the Cranbrook Institute of Science. He is also a board member for the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit and Ann Arbor SPARK.

Lisa A. Muschong

Lisa Muschong

Vice President, Corporate Secretary & Chief of Staff – DTE Energy

Lisa A. Muschong is vice president, corporate secretary and chief of staff for DTE Energy. Muschong is responsible for corporate governance issues, corporate policies and practices, shareholder relationships and Board of Directors matters.

Muschong joined DTE Energy in 1991. Prior to her current position, Muschong was director of Investor Relations where she was responsible for communicating DTE Energy’s business, financial and operating strategies to industry analysts and investors. Muschong previously served as manager of the Corporate Budget, Forecast and Reporting group under the Controller Organization. In this capacity, Muschong coordinated the development of the enterprise annual budget data and prepared consolidated financial and operating data for DTE Energy’s senior management. Muschong has held positions of increasing responsibility in various Controller groups. Prior to the Corporate Budget, Forecast and Reporting group, Muschong managed both the Corporate Support and Energy Resources Consolidation groups within the Controller Organization.

Muschong earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from Michigan State University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Walsh College.

Muschong is the executive sponsor of DTE Energy’s Women of DTE, an employee resource group that fosters employee growth and development through networking, community service and informal support groups. In addition, Muschong serves on the board of directors and chairs the Board Development Committee for Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit. In February 2017, she was elected an officer of the Detroit Economic Club. From 1997 to 2006, she served on the board of directors for the Detroit Edison Credit Union.

Matthew Paul

Matt Paul

Executive Vice President, Distribution Operations – DTE Energy

Matt Paul is executive vice president of Distribution Operations for DTE Energy. Paul is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s electrical system, including system and reliability planning, new customer connections, electrical engineering, construction, tree trimming and emergency responsiveness. He is leading the company’s multi-year plan to upgrade the energy grid to improve the quality of power our customers receive, positively impact Michigan’s economy, and prepare communities for the future with safe, reliable and affordable energy.

Paul’s career with DTE Energy spans 20 years. Prior to his current role, he served as president and chief operating officer of DTE Gas, DTE Energy’s natural gas utility which provides service to 1.3 million homes and businesses in Michigan. Prior to that role, Paul was vice president, plant operations, Generation, part of DTE’s electric utility operations. He has also held senior leadership positions within DTE’s non-utility companies.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago.

Paul is a board member of the Michigan Manufacturing Association, Michigan Chamber and The Right Place. He is also active in the autism community. He and his wife have four sons and enjoy spending family time in northern Michigan.

Robert A. Richard

Robert Richard

Executive Vice President, IT, Customer Service & Corporate Services – DTE Energy

Robert A. Richard is the executive vice president of IT, Customer Service and Corporate Services for DTE Energy. Richard is responsible for overseeing the Customer Service organization, the development of enterprise standards and technology architecture and the strategic management of the company’s procurement, supplier performance management, warehousing, fleet, facilities and real estate organizations.

Richard has been with DTE Energy since 2003. Prior to his current role, Richard was senior vice president of Major Enterprise Projects and Customer Service where he was responsible for overseeing the Customer Service organization, along with the company’s major projects in Power Generation, Distribution, Renewable, Gas Distribution and Midstream platforms.

Prior to joining DTE Energy, Richard was vice president of operations and process improvement at Bethlehem Steel. This role was responsible for sales, marketing and operations of the eastern division. Previously, he spent 13 years at General Electric where he served in a variety of leadership roles. Richard was senior executive for GE LEXAN Americas Manufacturing and responsible for Phenolics, BPA, SAN, Chlorine and Polycarbonate extrusion.

Richard earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University. At Ohio State, his graduate work was in coal technologies, which included liquefaction, gasification and the microbial desulfurization of coal. Richard is a graduate of the Nuclear Reactor Technology course of MIT and he is a certified Master Black Belt from GE and the Six Sigma Academy. He received the Whitney Award for technical achievement at GE. Richard is a member of the Engineering Advisory Boards for Central Michigan University and Oakland University.

Richard is a member of the board of directors of the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS). He is the Vice President of board of directors for the Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD). Richard is a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association.

David Ruud

David Ruud

Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer – DTE Energy

David Ruud is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for DTE Energy. Ruud is responsible for the company’s finances.

Ruud joined DTE in 2005 and has served in several senior leadership roles across the organization, accumulating deep experience across DTE’s various businesses. He brings a strong combination of financial, strategic, operational and engineering experience to the role of CFO.

Prior to his current position, David Ruud was Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development of DTE Energy. In this role, Ruud worked with DTE’s executive team to shape company strategy and drive key strategic initiatives. Focused on identifying trends and themes in the industry, Ruud was instrumental in evaluating and pursuing value-enhancing growth opportunities and overseeing the company’s long-term planning.

Upon joining the company, Ruud led the Power & Industrial business, and was responsible for DTE’s cost reduction initiative and continuous improvement program.

Prior to joining DTE Energy, Ruud was vice president and partner at L.E.K. Consulting, an international consulting firm focused on delivering results for clients in the areas of strategy, mergers & acquisition, and value management. While at L.E.K., Ruud led the North American Energy practice where he directed consulting engagements involving corporate and financial strategy, growth options, and performance improvement opportunities for energy clients.

Ruud earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from Penn State University and an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Ann Arbor SPARK and is on the Board of Directors for American Iron and Steel Institute.

Paula Silver

Paula Silver

Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications & Public Affairs – DTE Energy

Paula Silver is senior vice president of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs for DTE Energy.

Silver leads the strategic planning and oversight of Corporate Communications, Public Affairs and the DTE Energy Foundation. Her team’s responsibilities within communications include advertising, sponsorships, brand management, digital communications, media relations, internal communications, marketing communications and operational communications for the gas, electric, nuclear and non-utility businesses. Her team’s responsibilities within Public Affairs include community engagement, retiree outreach, neighborhoods work, the annual United Way campaign, volunteerism, and philanthropic support through the DTE Energy Foundation which provided more than $19 million in grant support in 2021 alone.

Silver joined DTE Energy in 2015 from Federal-Mogul Corp., where she was vice president of Communications and Investor Relations. She also served as vice president of Communications and Public Relations for Quicken Loans/Rock Ventures.

Silver earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Wayne State University in Detroit. She has several executive certificates from the University of Michigan.

Silver is a board member of The Parade Company, Detroit Public Television (DPTV) and the American Heart Association. She also sits on Wayne State University's Board of Volunteers for the College of Fine, Performing and Communications Arts and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Mark Stiers

Mark Stiers

President DTE Vantage and Energy Trading

Mark Stiers is president of DTE Vantage (NYSE: DTE) , a leading developer of energy-related businesses in North America. Stiers manages the company’s day-to-day activities and its strategic planning, business development, financial management and general administration.

He also holds the position of president of DTE Energy Trading, where he is responsible for overseeing the growth of the non-regulated subsidiary of DTE which markets and trades electricity, natural gas and environmental products.

Stiers joined DTE Energy in 2006, and most recently served as president and chief operating officer of DTE Gas. He previously held the role of vice president, Gas Sales and Supply for DTE Gas. Prior to joining DTE, Stiers spent time leading other sales and marketing companies in delivering wholesale and retail energy products and services in Michigan, New York, Illinois, Ohio and the Northeast.

Stiers earned a Master of Business Administration and an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor.
